Having just climbed Mt Abrupt last Sunday I read your blog and laughed and laughed!! Was anxious about the climb but thoroughly enjoyed it!! It was a training run for Via Francigena – am now filled with enthusiasm and curiosity!!

The photo of ‘Signal Peak and the Serra Range from Mt Abrupt Summit Trail’ is amazing – I’ll definitely do some hiking there at some point in my life! 🙂

You’re right, River! Those rocks DO look like a jigsaw – but after that LONG hike, they’re just another possible thing to trip over!!! I think I’ll join you on that chairlift next time 😀
